I request our Google moderators and senior LG Connect friends to throw light on this issue.
A great spiritual head, Shankaracharya of Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri has come on a visit to Chennai on Vijaya Yatra. Lakhs of devotees have been gathering there to seek His blessings. You can check news channels / YouTube.
I found the place ‘Sudharma’ where He is camping was not available in Google Maps and immediately added the same two days ago under ‘place of worship’ in Chennai. Google approved and it was made visible. Review and one photo were added. Just one photo was viewed more than 3200 times. (see screen shots)
‘Sudharma’, 128, Dr Radha Krishnan Salai, next to New WoodlandsHotel, Mylapore, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600004
Today evening I was browsing maps and to my shock found this place was marked ‘permanently closed’. (See screen shot) Could this be a work of miscreants?
Then I entered the edit info / operating status menu and marked the place as ‘reopened’. Added photos with the latest itinerary of His Holiness in that place.
To my relief the place has come alive again. In such cases how are we to inform it was wrongly labelled.
Can you tell me how this ‘permanently closed’ was applied all of a sudden?
Thank you.
Thank you.
