I received an email from Google Maps @ noreply yesterday about my contribution to Google Maps, which was a few months prior to my trip to a South Indian restaurant to try South Indian Masala Dosa ( Dish). Yes, my favorite where i observed that business name is not correct so i modified on Google Maps after discovering a mismatch in the business name. The name of Business was displayed correctly after my submission was accepted . However, yesterday I received an email from Google Maps stating that my contribution has been seen 30,000 times, which came as a surprise to me. When I was editing this location, I didn’t anticipate it would be that significant, but indeed it is. When visiting locations I recommend editing the name & category of the business if it’s incorrect , to help users find their destination more easily. This not only benefits users but also promotes the growth and prosperity of enterprises in the surrounding community. The local community who are using Google Maps to locate their destination are greatly impacted by your little contribution. Have you ever edited anything on Goggle maps share your experience below. Congratulations on the popularity of your edit. I added a place to Google Maps and i received an email that it was seen 500 times. But the photo which i attached is only showing 15 views. Seems a strange disconnect.
