Edit is being denied, is it possible to escalate?

I’m sorry if this has been asked multiple times before, but I’m conflicted at this point and can’t seem to find a resolution.

If you search “Visitbluemountain” at “Colorado 26, Denver, CO 80219”, it’ll bring you to a random location within Ontario, Canada. It’s an intersection nearby me, of Taunton and Thickson, Whitby, Ontario.

I’ve put through that this location does not exist, and it is denied every time. I attempt to put through that’s spam - denied. I’ve attempted to move the marker to the real Blue Mountains in Ontario - Denied for incorrect address since it’s showing in Denver, CO. I’ve tried moving the pointer to Denver, CO, and it’s denied.

The address is clearly wrong (Since it’s showing in a State, and we’re in Canada). I’ve tried updating it, denied. The location does not exist (It’s in the middle of the road), but still denied. How can I have this issue resolved so that this marker goes away? Can I escalate it to anyone?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @KyleMoher from your description it sounds like it might be bad Maps data since it doesn’t work with any of the processes. Can you please post links to the place(s)?

Feedback is welcome here, but please also use Send Feedback within the Maps App to identify data issues that need review.

Unfortunately I’m doing it via maps.google.ca.

Here’s the link:

You can do it from the web app too @KyleMoher

I’ve put in an edit to suggest it doesn’t exist. We’ll see what happens. It is “pending” right now :).

I will also escalate this one via the moderator channel is it is certainly weird.

Just following up, unsurprisingly I got “not applied” so the behaviour is at least consistent. I have escalated for review. I suspect it is an online business as while they talk about properties in Colorado at Blue Mountain they don’t seem to own them - they’re some kind of 3rd part booking organisation. Online only businesses should not be on Maps.

I appreciate you looking into it and escalating it, as I feel like I’m unable to make any progress on the matter. The website listed is indeed legitimate but the location is clearly incorrect - even if it was “online”, it’s odd it’d be shown in Ontario Canada on the map while the address shows Colorado.
