I am hearing, but most of my friends are deaf. One of the things that my friends and I love to do is to go out and eat, and sometimes this can be challenging when there are communication barriers with every choice we make. Places around us quickly become our “favorite” when we find those rare gems where some/all of the staff sign in American Sign Language.
We’ve got our normal coffee spots, our usual pizza place and the Thursday night bar crawl, that we all know about. Let’s work together to network and expand everyone’s awareness as well as our dining options!
