Last year, I was home for Easter. Sadly, this year’s Easter, I cannot travel due to border lockdowns.
I made this yummy deviled eggs on last year’s Easter…
Ingredients:
- Boiled Eggs
- Mayonnaise
- Canned beets
- cheese
- salt & pepper
- Parsley
How to make it:
- Fill a bowl with water and beets juice.
- Soak whole peeled boiled eggs in the mixture of water and beets juice and leave it overnight or for a few hours in the fridge.
- When you are ready to make the deviled eggs, cut the eggwhite carefully in half and scoop the eggyolk out without breaking the eggwhite. Place the eggyolks in a separate bowl.
- Mash the eggyolks, mix in the mayonnaise, grated cheese, a bit of salt and pepper…
- Fill the hollow of the eggwhites with the eggyolk mix and garnish with Parsley or any herbs you prefer for garnishing…Enjoy…
