Google Maps have been a great tool in finding and discovering new places. Some places are iconic, some are quaint, some are beautiful while some are popular. The number of people who haven’t visited those places increase by the day.
As a Google Map user, I have used the map for navigation, but more importantly, to find and discover places that are famous, beautiful or iconic. This has been one of my many dealings on Google Maps. It is a great tool to find places, navigate through and to visit those places.
One thing I do is to add extra details. I am able to see the contributions of others that has helped my navigation and recognition. Once I discover other places or new places, I do the same by posting pictures, writing reviews or establishing new places on the map such that when other users see the pictures and read the reviews, navigation and recognition becomes easier.
I am usually particular about making Google Map easier and accurate as possible as I can contribute to it for the benefit of other users. Hence, when a place or street has been renamed or there is a new establishment / building, I do as much as possible to establish that reality on the map also.
