After one year living in a different place in Mexico City, I discovered my new neighbors in the small park close to my apartment, a couple of Harris eagles.
Here are some photos I have taken of this amazing creatures (All photos self captured with Nikon D3200 | 55-200 mm).

What a cool view to have each day, @JahirSVG !
The new neighbors look a little nosy! What other wildlife can you see nearby?

Great photos @JahirSVG , I love wildlife photography!
Eagles are such majestic creatures, and you are lucky to have been able to catch them up close like this. Thanks for adding the details about which camera you used by the way!
Are eagles like these a regular sight in Mexico City?

Hi @JordanSB , yes it’s an amazing view!
Some kind of noise in the mornings haha, but you get used to it. And this is the is like the only wildlife, Mexico City is full of buildings, people and traffic (sadly not a lot of nature).
Thank you for the appreciation @MortenSI !
It’s not regular to see eagles in Mexico City, what it’s more weird in this case is that they live in a really small park with just a couple of pines.
My thoughts are that they escape from their owner long time ago, and they have create their home in the park. I talked with the locals and the told me that they have been here for many years, so apparently it’s not the first generation.

It seems a large open area with much more food would be a more suitable place for them to live @JahirSVG , but like you say if they escaped from captivity, they might not know what else is out there.
As long as they’re happy where they are, I think it’s cool that they are living in the city.
