Drying Harvested Crops

This image shows a person drying harvested crops, a common post-harvest practice in Nepal. Typically, after crops like rice or wheat are harvested, they are spread out in open spaces to dry under the sun, which reduces moisture content and prevents spoilage. The person in the image is using a tool to spread or turn the grains, ensuring they dry evenly. This traditional method, often done on mats or tarps laid on the ground, is essential in preparing the crops for storage and future use.

In Bangladesh, we spread the rice in the open field for drying after boiled.

These pictures are really beautiful and represent the culmination of agricultural work. I also took some great shots like this with my mom. Because my mother is a farmer I often see her with agricultural work and I also do agricultural work. I have not shared the pictures yet in this connect forum.

Thanks @bikashkhadge bro for sharing with us.
