Dry Apricots

Kharmang known by its best quality apricot called (Halman). It will be best revenue generation source for locals if they properly dry and market it. I heard from my elders that during British era dry apricots of Kargil, Brolmo, Memoshthang and Olding Kharmang were very famous in south Asian market but after partition access to market got more difficult as the distance increased and then the wars between Pakistan and Indian in Kargil sector compelled the people of these areas to migrate down cities therefore agri-business activities of the region got bad disturbed.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos with us, the dry apricots look very delicious!

In Morocco, where I grew up, we used to cook dry apricots with meat. Giving a taste of sweet and savory to the whole meal.

In your country, do you use dry apricots for cooking?

thanks a lot for sharing with us. when i visit Hyderabad that time i try this with biriyani so tasty there called it “Khubani” @mariazaib

You can used it different recipes sweet and spicy both depend on your taste what you like

This is my little business I sale honey and dry FRUITS and different herbs saffron etc if you need more quantity so I can send you

My mother also used this in biryani pilao sauce sweet Dishes

This is naturally and dry on sunlight and teste is sweet and you can used this spicy and sweet Dishes
