What is drive through in questions asked by Google Maps ?
Hi @daku07 thank you for reaching out.
A drive through normally is available at restaurants, is when you are able to make a purchase or an order at point A and collect your order at point B without having to leave your car.
Cheers!
Hello @daku07
A drive-through can be any place where you need not alight from your car to make some quick purchases.
That can be a restaurant or even a pharmacy.
You will find some examples on the Expressways.
A known example to me is of that of a renowned fast-food restaurant, which offers such a facility on the Mumbai-Pune expressway.
Hello @daku07 ,
Thank you for reaching out and thank you @Raphael-Mahumane and @C_T for providing information.
I just wanted to let you know that @C_T 's reply was accepted as a solution as it fully answers your question.
Many thanks for accepting my reply as a solution @RadieN
BTW @daku07 , I guess you are from Maharashtra. Then you will find this novel drive-through concept way back in three-hundred-year-old history also.
The fort Raigad, the capitol of Martha empire, had a marketplace where one can do purchases while riding on horseback!
Yaaa @C_T I am from Maharashtra and i know what you shared with a good example of Maratha Empire, but I don’t know this term properly. But you give solution which clear my doubt. Thanks !
