Dreams of The Senate Square

Here is the pictur ethat i taked in center of helsinki at Senate Square. Senate Square and its surroundings make up the oldest part of central Helsinki. Landmarks and famous buildings surrounding the square are the Helsinki Cathedral and many otheres. And the sculpture in picture you see is A statue of Emperor Alexander II and it is located in the center of the square. The statue, erected in 1894. It’s a beautiful square and you should defenetly visit it when you come to Helsinki.

Thanks for sharing your photo. What edits did you apply on it? The Helsinki Cathedral looks great at night. I’ve heard a lot about the city from @DanniS and I would love to visit it some day.

Thank you! In this picture I just played with a few apps, one of them was PicsArt and Snapseed of course.
Oh you would love it here, especially if posible come in Helsinki at summer time. Did you ever visit North countries? We have at summer time white nights, sun shining 24/7. its so cool walking on empty streets of city at night time and there is bright light as at they time (almost) O:)

Thanks for replying back @MikkoTyllinen ! Unfortunately, I haven’t visited the northern countries yet but I should plan a vacation there. I would definitely go during the summer, I don’t like the cold. And when it comes to the long days and nights, I’ve heard a lot of stories about them. It would be weird for me not to see the night sky.

I would love to visit Helsinki as well as the Santa Claus Village you were telling me all about. I am sure that everything looks like a fairy tale when covered in snow. I want to see the aurora, too? Is this possible in Finland?
