Dragon Jaw Mountain is a mountain located in the majestic Hoang Lien Son range with the meaning of “the jaw of dragons”. Ham Rong is one of the few mountains in Vietnam that has a clear and beautiful pictorial element.
Being shaped like a dragon’s head dimly looming in the thin veil of the early morning, Dragon Jaw Mountain that is fine combination of man-made and natural landscape is an attractive tourist area in the center of Sapa town.
Dragon Jaw Mountain is located right in Sapa town very close to Sapa Cathedral. The top of the mountain has a altitude of about 1.800m (about 300m higher than Sapa). At the top, there is Cloud Yard, on which we can overview of Sapa town and Fansipan mount from far away …

Nature is really incredible and has no limits. In many countries, there are mountains and rocks that look like something and they are famous for it, however I’ve never seen a dragon before, thank you!

All of them are located in Ham Rong Mountain tourist site, in which the dragon-shaped mountain is the place that most people attention to, it is very difficult if anyone wants to reach this mountain, only taking pictures from afar. … In this tourist site there is another remarkable point, that is Cloud Yard is located on the highest mountain here (1,800m), it takes 300m in height to go from the foot of this mountain area to Cloud Yard.
