Dragon in Kyoto

In October 2018, I dropped by Amanohashidate city in Kyoto.
I would love to worship at Chionji Temple where is a holy place to a God of learning and Amanohashidate View Land gave me a big surprise!

The observatory that stands on the top of Mt.Monju from which an amazing view of Amanohashidate can be seen.

The view of Amanohashidate seen from this spot is called “Hiryukan” since it looks like a “flying dragon” up in the heavens.

If you can see this picture upside‐down, yes! there is the Dragon!

Additional Information,
It takes about two hours and half from Tokyo to Kyoto by train and change trains at Kyoto, Amanohashidate city is located, a two-hour train ride from Kyoto Sta,.

Visitors can take a chair lift(6 min) or a monorail(8 min) to the observatory. Wheelchair users can take the monorail.
