Downtown Toronto map edit
Balzac’s Ryerson Image Arts
122 Bond St, Toronto, ON M5B 1X8, Canada
March 18, 2017 @ 2pm Another version of this post shows a 3pm start. We will stay at Balzac’s until at least 3, and then move toward the Ryerson Image Centre, in the same building. Sorry for the discrepancy.
Let’s further our understanding of Google Maps and how to edit and add information. I’d like to start east of Yonge near my work and head toward Dundas Square and the PATH network. Balzac’s is on Gould Street near Victoria Street, next to the Ryerson Image Centre museum. Perhaps we can end up at Marche in Brookfield Place to eat…?
Additional: Let’s set the itinerary once we meet and get an idea of mutual interests. One priority for me is figuring out how to add a new location inside a larger building. A good example is the Image Arts Department where Balzac’s is located: there is a permanent gallery space called “Gallery 310” or “IMA 310” upstairs, not to be confused with the Ryerson Image Centre photo museum which is also in the same edifice… Could we together experiment with adding this smaller venue?
I am new to Google Guides and learned of it through my work at a nearby public art museum. I have created a few My Maps that indicate my interests, including “Toronto Hidden Gems” and “Exhibit Spaces near Gallery Arcturus” – alas the link to Google Maps is being rejected as “invalid HTML” ![]()
