We can meet by the Walt Disney Amphitheater- Lake Eola Park 512 East Washington Street Orlando Florida. I’m scheduling the event early because mid-afternoon to night it gets crazy with bar hoppers. We will walk the streets of wall street, church street, E Central Blvd, and the surrounding areas, to take pictures of Downtown Orlando from a local guide view. As new as the city of Orlando may seem, there is a rich history to it, some areas in church street are said to be haunted too! I tried in Long Island, but only my friend and I attended so it wasn’t a real Local Guide meet up. I’m going to try again for Long Island this summer, more people have free time.

@IlankovanT that’s the Walt Disney amphitheater right now they painted it rainbow colors, in honor of the Pulse shooting victims, on June 12th there will be a huge vigil all day for the 1 year memorial:heart:

Also, did you post this out on the Orlando Local Guides Community page yet? That’s a great way to reach a lot of the locals. Unfortunately I’ve found not many are very active on Connect yet so I always recommend cross posting there to get the ones who forget to check Connect.
@IlankovanT as Diana mentioned that is an amphitheater. Believe it or not but that style is an old Florida downtown band shell style we have all over the state. Here’s a view from the front I took at the Orlando Pizza Crawl we did near Lake Eola a few months back. The swan on the left is a boat in case you were curious.
Ooh fun, @DiAnaUS ! I won’t be in Orlando until the end of the month but finally explored Lake Eola (after living in Orlando for college) just this past December on one of my trips back to town!

I usually go to the inner city of downtown at night, it will be my first time experiencing during the day time, I hope it’s not so hot out, florida is so brutal, especially when there’s no air flow with all the tall buildings hahaha
