We are lucky that there are many cheap opportunities to initiate our kids to downhill skiing, starting at the age of 5! If you go the maneige.ski website, you can sign up for 25$ CAD 1 hour initiation including equipment at many mountains in the Quebec region! We have tried this for more than 4 years so far. This year, my kids (7 and 9) were able to go up the mountain with me doing ski and snowboard. They are not tired, we ended up skiing from 3pm to 9pm! W ith a 30min supper break. Evening ski is cheaper than during the day and many promotions on the maneige site above or powski.com!
