I was very much aware of the house Dostoevsky in St Petersburg and I was toying with the idea about discovering the house of Dostoevsky…yes…no…yes…no…I was rather restless inside me…I was dilly dallying if I could discover the house of Dostoevsky because I could not discover the house of Raskolnikov…the hero of Dostoevsky in his book Crime and punishment…on the way back from peterhof I told the driver of the taxi about my intention…he was not so aware about that…I showed him the Google maps and the location and he identified the place and he brought me in the nearby area…I got down from the cab and I started walking in the street with the Google maps in the smartphone of my friend…I began asking the walkers about the house of Dostoevsky but it is very difficult to communicate with the Russians in English…nobody responded so much…ultimately an elderly lady helped me to get to the house…she understood and led me to the house of Dostoevsky and after a brief walking she identified and pointed us the house…I was so overwhelmed and became emotional while thanking her…she slowly walked away with her dog…and we got to the point…
