Don't Be "Traped" by This Sleazy Hostel Anymore!

When I decided to visit Ahmedabad City in India, it was lil bit hard to find cheap but comfortable accomodation. Ahmedabad City is port of the Gujarat region, and this area is not very well-known as tourist destination.

I’m looking for some informations about the accomodation. Unfortunately, not many people have reviewed the acommodation there. So, I’m a bit gambling when choosing. I trust the reviews from the Local Guides more than the reviews on the booking site.

Why? Because many of the reviews there were made by hotel staff. Unlike the reviews in the Local Guide that are more honest and I can see directly the profile of the reviewer.

I finally chose a hostel with a high score on the booking site. Unfortunately, when I arrived, it was a bad hostel!

Staff are not friendly. The rooms is very dirty and the bathroom facilities are horibble!. Just imagine, from 6 toilet cubicles, only 2 are functioning and even that is a pathetic condition.

This cannot be tolerated. when I left this city, I made a review in the Local Guide. I wrote is based on my experience. And, for sure, I complete the review with some pictures.

Why did I do that? Because I don’t want any other visitors to be “trapped” just like me!

This is the most interesting thing from the Local Guide. I have no burden to tell the facts that I found actually. A few months later, the hotel “disappeared” from the booking site. In fact, they changed the name.

They are cheating, but … my review in the Local Guide remains eternal. If travelers find out about this hostel in the Local Guide, they will find my honest reviews. And, hopefully that can be a consideration for them not to choose to stay there.

This is the most interesting thing to be a local guide. We can share experiences, especially when traveling. And, because of this experience, I am increasingly excited to continue to share information about things related to tourist attractions that I have visited.
