Don Hill Station - Please fix this issue on Google maps

Don is a hill station and village in the Dang district of Gujarat, India. It is touted to be the second hill station in the state after nearby Saputara. On Google Maps, it’s in Maharashtra boundaries but facts mentioned that it’s located in the Dang district of Gujarat.

In the above pic, you can see the boundary of Dang village and also I pointed out Don village that I can see in the Dang district

I am writing this post to help others to don’t misunderstand that Don is a part of Maharastra state but the fact is that Don village is part of Gujarat. Gujarat is a dry state so it may put someone into trouble if they are carrying or consuming liquor. Many other laws can differ for every state.

I would urge the Google Maps team to take action, as soon as possible to correct this serious error. This will ensure the safety of the passengers who come to Don Village.

However, the best thing to do is to escalate the issue, providing the documentation shared in this post, to the Google Maps Help Community , for them to escalate the issue directly to the Google maps team

Thanks for highlighting the efficiency of Connect, @mayursojitra , and the continuous help of the Google Moderators, however Connect is a Community related to the Local Guides program, while the Google Maps help community is related to Google Maps, and we address to them issues that are not possible to edit for us (Local Guides)

When did you posted on there? Please keep in mind that Product Expert are volunteers too, so maybe they will need to have a bit more time to check the issue
