If you live in the Salt Lake City Area, I would highly recommend checking out Dolcetti Gelato. They have the most amazing gelato I have ever tasted! They are lactose intolerant friendly as they always have 2-3 sorbetto options. If you are wanting a sweet treat without the detrimental effects, check out their options! I love the Peach Sorbetto when it is in season. I also like the Chocolate Coconut Sorbetto. All of their gelators are hand made in the back!
Additionally, they have amazing pastries! Alex, the pastry chef, makes really good marzipan cookies. When I see them, the browned butter chocolate chip cookies are the most amazing basic cookies. I think about them all the time and crave them.
