may be you know it because it will host world cup 2022 for football
it is nice city , not big , but have many things you may would like to know more about it
also it is rich country & have many nice resorts and many good malls for shopping

1 - Souq Waqif ( local market have a lot of traditional shops , bazaars , restaurants and many other activities ) and you can say it is most important place you should see in your visit to doha
2 - Islamic Art Museum
it is the second place should be on your list
have many many pieces from Islamic world , you will enjoy the view too
3 - National Museum of Qatar
it is opened last year and have many activities plus history
4 - Shikh Faisel Museum
it is private museum built by Shaikh Faisal ( member of royal family ) and he collect each piece by himself
5 - Katara village
it is cultural village have theaters , restaurants , bazaars , beach ( you can swim ) open areas , sometimes music festivals or art activities
6 - Zubara Fort
it is old place and listed in UNESCO heritage
7 - Doha Cournich ( Seaside )
you can enjoy the view or scrappers and towers , also you can take boat , walk or buy street food
8 - many malls in Doha
Vilagio City center , Landmark , Ezdan , Mall of Qatar , Doha Festival city

I had been there twice but both on transit… wish I was able to stay longer and explore the beautiful city.
