I run a small pub in Munich and I have a question about Photos uploaded to my business listing and their effect on the visibility/ranking of my business.
Namely, do photos that are uploaded by a customer who is currently eating/sitting in the bar or is in the near vicinity of my bar rank better than photos that are uploaded by customers who visited my bar and sometime later in their home country uploaded the photo(s)?
I’ve been told that it is best if a customer uploads a photo right there in the bar rather than at home (which could be in another country entirely)

The answer is no, the location from where the photo is posted doesn’t effect your visibility
However I would like to highlight that this is a community of Local Guides. Businesses have their own forum in the Google Business Profile community
In addition, using a profile as a local guide to represent your business is against the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions : “Organizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program.”
So if you are here to represent your Business please leave the Local Guides program ASAP
