DOES IT AFFECT IF I CHANGE THE URL OF MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL?

Hi local guides,

I’m not sure if it’s legal to ask this question here. But I hope I can get the answer about this issue?

My youtube channel has less than 100 hundred subscribers. But I think the subs may rise more than that in coming dates.

If I want to create my url then, does it affect the video link that I submit before? For example, the examiner cannot find my original link/video to review?

Hi @QuangTamNhu

If you pasted the direct link to your Connect Live 2020 video (an not a link to your channel) into your Connect Live application form you should be fine.

Thank you for your confirmation. I did it as the way you said ‘pasted the direct link of the video to the form’.

Since I want to develop the channel and I think it is easy for someone who wants to look for my channel. He can directly type my ID in the search tap.

You submit your URL link to application form don’t worry.

And don’t afraid to this.

I also have YouTube channel.

Must ensure that your link is not expired and it’s not related to your number if subscribers… And it not affect your application…

Normally it does not affect the video link, so there is no real problem there.

The video is separated from the channel, but I would not reupload or change the video URL

You got a correct answer already from others such as @KushR @KishorMali and @MortenCopenhagen , what I would advice you to do if you have not renamed your channel yet is to wait until the results are out for those who are selected so that you do not interfere with the video just to be safe. You do not need to do this but if there is no rush for you could just follow that. Cheers!
