Greetings, I am not a user active in the program like LocalGuide, but I would like to know what we will do after the G + extinction.

@NicacioS I, also, have been wondering precisely that.
I’m an SEO (and tutor, writer… bit of a jack-of-all-trades) and I generally swear by putting as much accurate, properly structured data/info out there, most especially and starting with the Google suite, including G+ brand etc. and since Google+ and GMB and Local Search etc etc are all under the big Alphabet umbrella (hashtag the REAL Umbrella Corps - got 'em), that was always the central hub/starting place/rosetta stone that I would refer back to (whether manually or automated, in some cases) to maintain consistency.
I’ve even gotten a bit of backlash from some clients over what they’ve read about Google+ of late. Since none of them understands the first technical thing about what I do, the resentment comes from a place of ignorance so it’s easy to forgive, but still… it’s pretty rare that a wide swath of my layman entrepreneur/enterprise clients all know a piece of tech/search news.
Google moves the needle. The name has a lot to do with it, I imagine. Had they stuck with Backrub, I’m not sure they’d have the same level of heat.
I, sadly, don’t have any useful, concrete info, but I wanted to tag along for this journey, because I’m also pondering what this Google+ void (Google-, if you will) means, going forward.

Thanks for reaching out. I just want to let you know that I’ve moved your post out of the Idea Exchange because it’s not really and idea and more of a question.
The Local Guides team does not have any involvement with Google+ communities and we don’t have any further details than what is shared in this blog post. Connect was created as a single global community forum for Local Guides. Any communities outside of Connect are not supported for quite some time.
