My most recent trip to Ghana (December 2019) was marked with an experience that was markedly new to me. As opposed with my all too familiar nights out and brunches in Accra and East Legon in particular. I took a trip to the largely unspoiled, idyllic and oh so relaxing waterfront town of Busua.
Discovering and experiencing Busua, I found myself getting lost a number of times (After asking the locals for directions) and going up the wrong trails because as at of then, the little town was largely undocumented by Local Guides. I took it upon myself to take good photos and reviews of the locations I discovered such as “Coconut Dream Inn”, which serves the most delicious freshly squeezed juices, as you enjoy the surfers take their morning lessons, or the surreal "Ahanta Eco Lodge’ with it’s lush greenery and vegan menu or the “Laughing goat Lodge” where I stayed with its panoramic rooftop terrace.
As much as I enjoyed discovering these locations in Busua, it gave me greater joy to document and review these spots, thereby making it easier for future travellers to the area to not miss out on the hospitality that the relaxing town provides.
