Meet Max and Kayla - this weekend I experienced the really interesting process of being followed around by my own personal film crew. Recently I promoted an idea to the Local Guides team called The 36 Walk which was designed to improve photography through constraint. Most of the walks are running this weekend, the Australian ones all finished a few hours ago and the others are mostly starting up as the day wakes in the Northern Hemisphere as I type this. The Local Guides team helped massively by featuring the idea which helped the idea gain 27 cities to run photowalks. The crew documented the thoughts behind the walks and Local Guides in general and then followed the two walks in Melbourne. It’s going to be very interesting to see all of this from the eyes of people not used to our walks. The raw footage will wing its way to Google for processing and I imagine at some point a Local Guides video will come out. I really look forward to the outcome and thank the Local Guides team for the opportunity to work with this skilled and professional team. They were really cool and easy to work with.
