Do you want unique souvenirs?

Buying gifts and Souvenirs is between the most important and pleasant activities for most of travelers, its also a challenge to find original products made in the country we are visiting.

Once while visiting Romania, I bought souvenirs that represent the Romanian culture but later on I felt disappointed as I found out that some of this souvenirs were made in China :frowning:

The same problem can happen to any one while trying to buy souvenirs from Egypt, many products offered in the traditional souvenirs markets are not original and are not made in Egypt.

I would like to browse with you a shop I discovered, and I think it deserves a visit when its about searching for souvenirs and original products that represent the local lifestyle.

Maybe this is the best place for gifts and original handicraft in Cairo, the products are made in Egypt,

you can find big variety of products presenting the Egyptian culture and local lifestyle, even if you donā€™t need to buy, this place deserves visit to just watch,

itā€™s some kind of beautiful modern museum or art exposition.

Prices are not cheap but not very expensive comparing to the quality of products.

Donā€™t forget to tell us where to find local products and arts in your town.

Wow, @Abdoado , which is this place? I saw many things Iā€™d love to buy there! I always get traditional souvenirs from the places I visit, because this way I feel like I take a piece of the country home.

Are prices fixed in this shop or is bargaining allowed?

As for your question, thereā€™s one souvenir shop in Sofia, Bulgaria from where I always get presents for friends abroad. Itā€™s called Souvenirs of Bulgaria and the prices are reasonable. I think most of their goods are handmade!

@DeniGu this is big luxurious shop, you can pay there with visa but you canā€™t negotiate pricesšŸ˜Š

I added more photos as you liked it .

I like your shop from Bulgaria, in fact this is the kind of shopping I like while travelling.

How do you write the shop name in this blue color?

Love the new photos, @Abdoado !

Iā€™m actually glad that no negotiation is allowed there, I wouldnā€™t want to give an offensively low price just because Iā€™m not aware of the real value of the goods!

The name of the souvenir shop I mentioned is linked to its Google Maps location, thatā€™s why it appears in blue. You can link Google Maps locations, reviews, photos, and other websites by selecting the desired word or phrase and selecting the ā€œInsert/edit linkā€ optionā€“itā€™s the fifth option from the left and it looks like a chain. There you can directly insert the URL.
