This food is mainly sold at food stalls during festivals in Japan’s Kansai region. It’s made with a rice cracker topped with sauce, a fried egg, and mayonnaise.
The Kansai region is located in western Japan and includes major cities like Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe. It’s known for its rich cultural heritage, delicious foods like takoyaki and okonomiyaki, and its unique dialect called “Kansai-ben.” It’s a vibrant area where tradition and modernity come together.
This food is called “Tamago Senbei”

The combination of a rice cracker, sauce, fried egg, and mayonnaise sounds like a great mix of textures and flavours. I missed trying it during my visit.

I explored Osaka and Kyoto last year but missed to taste this delicacy.
Maybe the next time?
It’s not like there’s a shop, it’s sold at stalls during festivals
There are no stores, and they are sold at places where stalls are located, such as during festivals
