SA-WAS-DEE-KA from Singapore
I’m still here until Sunday. And I’m still trying to find local restaurants to try.
This restaurant name "He Ji Braised Duck Rice Porridge & Noodle"sells duck rice and kway chap (Noodle) that is popular amongst residents staying in the vicinity. Having been featured in one of the episodes of local TV series, Our Makan Places: Lost and Found, this stall has the longest snaking queue.
Today I choose to try kuay jab. which is delicious and different from Thailand, In my town everything is gathered in one bowl. A set of kway chap goes for $4. There are wonderful and delicious.
This restaurant does not require reservations. But you have to allow some time to stand in line. Today I spent 40 minutes queuing. and it’s worth it.
