Hello World. My name is Pavel Sarwar and I am a curious individual who is passionate about innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. I am a habitual knowledge seeker who loves knowing how things work. I am working in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Public Service Innovation, Tech Education and Community Development.
I am an active contributor to Google Maps science 2012. On 22 February 2015, I joined the Local Guides program as a Local Guide. Besides, I have become a Google Street View Trusted Photographer. I am originally from Bangladesh and currently living in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
My personal motto is- Do what you love, inspire others and change the world. The Local Guides program is very aligned with my personal motto.
Out of seven kinds of Local Guides, I am the Visualist and the Trailblazer. I want to travel the whole world and live like a local anywhere I go. I love to travel & discover new places.
Here are my few Travel RECAP from last year.
New York: Exploring The City That Never Sleeps
Fraser’s Hill: Little England of Malaysia

Let’s have a coffee together and Explore Bangkok
As a food lover, I love to eat at different restaurants and update restaurant information on Google Maps.
Why I love to share restaurant information with food pictures on Google Maps.
I also love to share my knowledge with others. That’s why I organize meetups and also attend meet-ups organized by fellow Local Guides. By creating a helpful list on Google Maps I can also help travelers and other Maps users.
The Google Local Guides is not only a program or product for me; it’s a movement for me to inspire and help millions of users of Google Maps. When I contribute here, I think I’m doing it for myself, for my community & future generation, for making the maps a better place for all. The Local Guides program has helped me bring my country and culture to the world and we are changing the world.
You may read those posts, how I am trying to promote my country and culture through the Local Guides program.

The Local Guides program also means to me friendly competition, inspiring others, sharing and caring.
Malaysia Local Guides Community is a diverse community. We have locals and foreigners. We are very well connected to each other, we are very friendly, we are not only a community we are family also. We also love to do a friendly competition on Local Guides. We discuss our contributions, meet-up plan, and community activities.
I am always proud to share that I and my wife @SumaiyaZafrin got featured on Google Official Blog, Local Guides Connect & all social channels as part of Valentine’s Day 2018 titled **Meet the couple that guides together. **Both of us have been actively contributing to enriching Google Maps with trusted and authentic information about tourist destinations, local food, and local culture.
I attended the Google Local Guides Summit 2017 and that is the best part of my life. Google Local Guides featured me on their YouTube Channel titled Learning How to Make Ceramics – Artist for a Day.
Apart from all these, I have been actively involved with organizing meet-up and contributing to Google Maps and Local Guides Connect. I hope to expand my activities in the future and together we can change the world.
Proud to be a part of the Local Guides Program.
