Recently a person left a remark that was disturbing on one of the business I help look after it was directed at the owners and a person that frequents the place, the remarks attacked and implied something about the owners personal relationship, we managed to take it down immediately, however the person that left the remark was not identifiable. I would rather not say on here what they said and would like a moderator to contact myself personally so that it may be addressed. I have the original notification in my email, I will give more details personally thanks

Google has no tolerance for fake reviews. Reviews may get taken down if others label them inaccurate or if they don’t comply with Google’s review policies. You can’t contact someone who left an inappropriate review, but you can request that Google remove it.
Report to google by Next to the review, click More Flag as inappropriate.

Thank you for you’re advice, we did take it down…however this person has no profile picture and only the name “CC” as local Google guide. I would like to see some further disciplinary actions taken. I do not want to post what was said on here it I will send it private if possible. We would also like to ban them from the restaurant in question as well.
Hi @bay36t this forum is for Local Guides not businesses. You need to work through Google My Business https://business.google.com/ given you managed to get a review removed I imagine you’re already aware of this avenue for you. The take down will trigger a review of the person’s contributions.
You can PM me a link to the person’s contributions profile if you still have it.
