Most people go straight to the Avatar attraction when they arrive to Animal Kingdom. According to my experience, my recommendation is:

  1. Stay in line for the simulator late in the afternoon, after 6pm. Most visitors go early hours of the day. Therefore, the lines are shorter at night.
  2. Do not follow the clock that indicates the estimated time of the lines. When I went there It said 2 hours of waiting and it only took me 45 minutes.
  3. Bring enough water with you, especially on summer.
