Discovering the Japanese Pavilion with Hello Kitty and her friends

Hello Guides,
I hope everyone is well and taking care of themselves!

As everyone knows, Brazil is full of natural riches and in most states, with the presence of many parks.
Some of you already know that I live in São Paulo, and here we have the famous Ibirapuera Park. The park has a huge extension of green area, lake, animals (ducks, geese, birds and many species), courts, bicycle path, bicycle rental, food points, children’s playground and some museums such as the “Japanese Pavilion” .

The Pavilion is located in the middle of gate 6 of the park’s entrance, and there we can get to know a little about Japanese culture, immigration, specific trees from regions of Japan and even a little bit of food (since there is a typical cafe inside the place) .

To make the tour even more attractive and encourage children to learn, the Pavilion has the attraction “Getting to know the Japanese Pavilion with Hello Kitty and her friends”.
At each point of the space there is a totem telling the story of that specific point and a stamp, so that the child can stamp the passport of entry to the place. At the end of the tour, after collecting all the stamps, the child receives a postcard with a drawing of Hello Kitty and her friends.
The tour is very nice and encourages learning and play.

Admission to Ibirapuera Park, where the Pavilion is located, is free, but entry to the Pavilion costs R$15.00.
The site also has access ramps for the physically handicapped, elevators for the physically handicapped, adapted restrooms and instructors throughout the complex.
Even nicer is being able to take the tour safely, since they are taking care not to contaminate visitors with COVIDP-19.

I hope you like this post and if you come to São Paulo, please write down this tip.

That park looks very kawaii! I love the incentive to get children to learn more about cultures around the world. :slightly_smiling_face: How was your experience there? The pictures look great!
