Only a few individuals knew about Hadramout, Yemen. Since most places in the region is inaccessible even in the era of internet, it became my mission to always write about the attractions of the region with corresponding photos to encourage both the locals and international tourists to visit our area.
I started sharing about my hometown’s beauty since high school, and when I was in college, I published successful books about Hadramout.
Thanks to the existence of google maps, it made my mission easier to be achieved, through writing new locations, and sharing reviews about places in the area. Moreover, with the algorithm of google maps by providing statistics about the number of people who viewed my reviews, it encouraged me to continue my mission.
Through google maps, beautiful areas in Hadramout have the chance to be showcased effortlessly, which in turn increases the number of tourists and revitalize small and local businesses through handicrafts as souvenirs.
