Discovering Shangla district Pakistan

I, along with my friend set off for Shangla valley to explore the natural beauty of the valley. We started our journey from Islamabad. Reached Bisham after almost 5 hours of travel via Hazara motorway and the CEPC road. The journey has become very smooth after the construction of beautiful roads.
At Bisham, we met our friend Umar Bacha who was our host for the three-day trip. We planted trees at Junah Park in Bisham. Then reached Umar’s home to stay for a night. Enjoyed one of the tastiest foods in our life with the great company of friends.

The next day, after breakfast, we started our journey to the next place [Ajmaira](http://Ajmera%20Battagram, Batagram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa https://maps.app.goo.gl/vK5Uz9v4QY9imWyL9) . As we were getting closer to Ajmira Valley weather was getting colder.

The Ajmaira is the place where we found magical streams, wooden bridges, surrounded by green mountains, and a great peak with a snowcap. We had brought mangoes and apples with us we dropped in the stream. And enjoyed it later. The water of the stream was cold enough to freeze our feet in just 1 minute. After spending almost 2 hours here we started our journey to Dimorai were one of our friends Naveed had invited us for dinner.

We had a delicious dinner at Naveed’s home.

The next day, after having a nice breakfast we started our journey to the next destination “Yakh Tangy” which is almost 15Km from the capital of Shangla district headquarter Alpuri.

Throughout the journey, we saw beautiful waterfalls, lush green mountains, and the river flowing with melodious sound.

The weather in Yakhtangy was very cold that we really enjoyed it because it was a hot summer in other parts of the country. People in the area are very hospitable and welcoming. They offered us food and tea and insisted to stay at their place. We really felt like we are in our home.
Many people were enjoying their food in a beautiful natural environment. We really loved eating chappal kabab with roti on the bank of a beautiful stream sounded by large pine trees.
The government has made some huts for the tourists to stay where cooking facilities are also provided at very economic rates.

Yakhtangi can be one of the best destinations for tourists in Pakistan if the government improves the infrastructure. Good quality hotels should be built in the area so that the tourists could stay and enjoy their vacations at this beautiful place.
After completing our three-day trip we started our journey to Islamabad.
