I’m @Papel_Mahammud, a member of the Bangladesh Local Guides community and a regular contributor. I have been part of the Google Local Guides Program since 2019.
I love traveling, trying different foods, and exploring new places. Whenever I get some free time, I usually go somewhere nearby or visit a restaurant to relax, enjoy good food, and of course, take photos. Photography is one of my favorite things to do, whether it is taking pictures of myself, the food, or the place I am visiting.
After joining the Local Guides community, this habit became more meaningful to me. Now, whenever I visit a new place, I try to collect useful information, take photos and videos, and update Google Maps so that my contributions can help other people.
Recently, I noticed that a restaurant called Nosh in Dhanmondi was getting quite popular on social media. One of the main reasons was its beautiful photo booth and stylish interior, where many visitors were taking pictures.
Since I enjoy photography, I decided to visit the place with one of my friends.
Restaurant Name: Nosh
Location: Dhanmondi, Dhaka
Google Maps Location: Google Maps
We searched for the restaurant on Google Maps and went there without any prior reservation. For regular dining, a reservation was not required.
As soon as we entered the restaurant, I immediately noticed the photo booth I had seen on social media. Several visitors were already taking pictures there.
The interior of the restaurant was very attractive. The overall environment felt modern, stylish, and a little luxurious. There were many mirrors, decorative elements, and beautifully designed corners throughout the restaurant.
For anyone who enjoys taking photos, this is definitely a very photo-friendly place.
From what I observed, the restaurant has seating arrangements for around 60 to 70 people .
There is also a private dining area , but you need to contact the restaurant in advance to book it.
The restaurant also has a separate designated area for Smoking
My friend and I selected a table for two and started checking the menu. We ordered:
- Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl
- Thai Grill Chicken Salad
- Sakura Black Water
This was my first time trying black water So it was a new experience for me.
They also have seafood and dessert options On the menu.
After placing our order, we went around the restaurant and took some photos. The interior design was one of the highlights of the place, and many corners looked great in pictures.
I also noticed that several couples were dressed in traditional outfits like sarees and panjabis and were taking photos around the restaurant. It seemed that many people visit this place not only for food but also for photography.
We also took several photos together and some individual pictures.
Within around 10 to 15 minutes, our food was ready. One of the staff members came to inform us that our meal had been served.
Before eating, we went to wash our hands. The restaurant has separate washrooms for men and women, along with proper handwashing facilities.
During my visit, I found the washrooms and the overall restaurant area to be clean and well maintained.
We then started our meal, and I was satisfied with both the taste and the quality of the food.
The prices were a little higher than average in my opinion, but considering the food quality, presentation, ambience, and overall experience, I still found the visit enjoyable.
The staff members were also polite and helpful.
After finishing our meal, we made the payment. One thing I liked was that the restaurant supports several payment methods.

As a Local Guide, I always try to notice details such as accessibility, payment options, washroom facilities, parking, seating arrangements, cleanliness, and service whenever I visit a place.
After my visit, I also contributed to the restaurant’s Google Maps listing by adding a review, uploading photos and videos, and answering relevant questions.
I believe even small contributions from Local Guides can make it much easier for others to understand a place before visiting.
Food Price Range
Based on my experience, the approximate food cost at Nosh is around BDT 800–1,000 per person, depending on the items you order. Considering the food quality, presentation, ambience, and overall dining experience, I found the pricing reasonable for the experience.
