I wanted to share a few oldies I took a while ago when I traveled to Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Back then Cartagena was not as popular as it is now but it had the magic to capture your attention at first sight. Beautiful landscapes, great weather, culture, traditions, history, and of course, party. One of the places I liked the most so far.
The historic center of Cartagena, “The Walled City”, was declared National Heritage of Colombia in 1959, and also included by UNESCO in the list of world heritage. Hanging out over there is a true privilege, you can sense the good vibes from all the citizens while enjoying discovering new spots.
Well, I hope you like the pics! Have an awesome day!
In this photo, you can see a sculpture by Fernando Botero, a famous Colombian character. Botero is a Colombian painter, sculptor, and draftsman, who over the years has made works of art in various parts of the world.
In this photo, you can see “Castillo San Felipe de Barajas” or “San Felipe de Barajas Castle”. It is a fortification located in the downtown of Cartagena de Indias. It can be spotted on a hill called San Lázaro and was built in 1657 during the Spanish colonial era. Inside it looks like a labyrinth, with secret routes even. Very nice!
@marcorp the photos are amazing especially the first one you looks so happy and the lady as well, her dress is so colorful. Thank you for sharing these amazing photos with us.
