As a passionate local guide (literally) and traveler host I love sharing the best unique spots that I find in my city, so travelers get to see places that sometimes not even locals know about. Sharing unique places that only a local will know about helps those who love exploring new cities to be travelers and not tourist. Getting to see what the city is really about, finding awesome things to see, eat, drink, or explore is one of the best features that Google Maps allows me to do.
As a bicycle tour guide, showing people the beautiful art murals that decorate the walls of our city, the places to must visit & see, and delicious food to most try; is an amazing form to help them connect with the community while they are visiting so they can get the most out of their trip. I have had the fortune of sharing unique spots and stories with travelers, as well as with local friends.
Have had situations where locals are surprise to find spots they have never heard about, and when see in them they can’t believe they didn’t know about it.
Living in San Antonio, Texas that is such a touristic city allows me to connect to more persons that are attracted by the beauty of the city. Attracted by The Alamo and The River-walk helps travelers to come thirsty for adventures allows me to help them experience the culture, and see the city thru different eyes as what is the touristic downtown area.
San Antonio is a city filled with love, color, community and overall; diversity. Thus, when experiencing such a diversity in different parts of town it just makes it more fun, lovely and unique becoming an unforgettable experience
Google maps has been an amazing tool to help me share all these unique places so people can find them, and get more information about it. Additionally, love the fact that people are able to look for everything they need in google maps, I really enjoy contributing with reviews and photos so all of those who are looking for something can take informed decisions on the things they want to do.
