Turkey is a large country and has too many places to visit. Tourists usually visit famous cities like Istanbul, Bursa, Trabzon, Antalya, Fethiye, Cappadocia (Nevşehir), Mersin, etc. Anyhow, there is many secret places in Turkey, which I recommend to visit. I will list here few of these hidden locations and I will be thankful and happy to exchange information with other Committee Colleagues.
• Merve Plajı: Beautiful and quiet beach, transparent blue water with the green mountains behind the seawater.
• Gökpınar Gölü: Another quit place to relax and eat fresh fish. Blue lake with very spectacular view.
• Yedikuyular Kayak Merkezi: If you like skiing you may visit this site in winters. There is several other skiing places in Turkey but this economic and quiet one.
• Günpınar Şelalesi: Fresh air, cool water in the summer and a wonderful view.
• Somuncu Baba: Historic renovated place with small museum and luxury mosque.
• Kudret Havuzu: Open to sky swimming pool. Cold water but nice view.
• Kanyon Balık Sofrası: If you like fresh fish and after a nice tour in Derenda (small Turkish town), you may want to try this wonderful restaurant in the embrace of nature. Several types of fish dishes, barbecues, entrees and delicious desserts.
• Levent Vadisi Seyir Terasi: Mounted glass terrace with views of the valley.
• Göz Alabalık: Summer time I usually spend great time eating fresh food and enjoy nice view.
I like these locations because they are quiet and good option whenever you want to run away from noise and congestion of cities. You could visit with friend, family or tour groups. Bounce advantage about these places that few only knows about them (even many native Turkish does not know these locations). Therefore, I am confident that you will enjoy your time and relax.
