Japan is notably prone to natural disasters like earthquake, tsunami and recently with recorded number of typhoons and rainfalls. In additional to existing topics like Food, Travel and etc, it would be nice to have instant communicating tools providing disaster scenes, location of relatives and friends in concern, reporting one’s safety and etc. In the event of 9/11’s earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku area, facebook was one of the effective SNS for people reporting their safety and whereabouts. Would google suite like map and plus providing tools that people can instantly reporting their whereabouts and safety information. In addition, information in regards to alerts, disaster scenes and preventative information would be helpful.
