Disappeared 360° photos after few days but displaying in street view app.

10 days back I uploaded 360 panorama images and published successfully. But after few days, those 360 content is not being displayed but I can see those in street view app and in Maps >> “Your contributions”.

Nowhere 360 images are not getting displayed in Google Maps app and in web version as well. At least 360 images should display in photos but that is not happened.

One of our clients name: Brand Blue, Address: ICRISAT Colony, Miyapur, Hyderabad, Telangana 500050.

If you open this clients photos, 360 images are not appearing, 10 days back we published and all images published and approved. Still images are displaying in street view app. But the images are still displaying in the Street view app (BRAND BLUE: https://goo.gl/maps/mdLCwrXtvWw).

In this case,I can see the 360 photos in Maps >> My contributions. Don’t know what is happening with the images. We have no clue to trouble shoot this.

The photo spheres can’t be seen at my end.

My concern is 360 images are not appearing in maps app and web version. (not worrying about the 360 view tab).

In the attachment you can see the “All”, “Inside” tabs.

In “All” tab, I can see only flat images not 360 images.

Kindly help me out.

When I mention this content in forum, other person who is from other geographical location could the 360 content. But the same I couldn’t. I have no clue to troubleshoot.

I’m literally tired asking and searching the resolution.

else please suggest me who will resolve this?

I can see your photos and your review in the business listings, and I can see the 360 in your profile.

Can you please share a screenshot of your profile, where the panos aren’t visible.

BTW, I need to highlight that in your post you wrote “one of our customers”.

Local Guide is a volunteer activities, business are not allowed in here. In addition, giving a review to a customer is against the program rules

As @ErmesT stated in his reply, you should not participate as a business as per our rules.

Organisations, brands and businesses are not eligible for the Program. If you offer services for hire (such as marketing yourself as a Street View trusted provider), you are not allowed to bundle such services with your Local Guide membership.

Violations of the aforementioned rules will result in a removal from the program.

We are volunteering the street view service, not using for business activities.

I’m from Hyderabad, even I checked in my friends mobile… 360 photo sphere is not displaying. And 360 view tab also not displayed.

I’m thinking that… is this issue occuring geographically? Because you are able to view the 360 images… but I’m not.

I tried myself and I am able to see the 360 photos as well (see screenshot below):

Have you tried updating your Google maps application? If you are using PC, please try deleting your cache. You can also try viewing it in incognito mode to see if it still appears like that. If it still does not appear for you, you can send feedback with detailed description of the issue.

Detailing about the issue:

  1. I uploaded the 360 panos and connected.

  2. After publishing the photos, every thing was fine and published successfully.

  3. Don’t know what happened. 360 View and Panos are not getting displayed. But other country people are able to view these 360 content. But I couldn’t.

  4. Even I verified in friends hand set, for them also not displaying. (Please find the earlier screenshots which I have shared with you).

  5. I have no clue and kept posting about this issue. But unfortunately till now no resolution.

We received similar reports from other contributors, where 360 photos are not visible in India, but can be viewed by users in other regions.

Adding another observation,

8th Feb, we have deleted and published again 360 panos. But no luck.

I’ve uploaded photos including 360 degree tours which was approved by the Google but not visible on Business profile in India. I asked my friend to check the same and it was visible to him in Canada.

Please check below images.

It happened twice with me.

One business location: Nimysha

Another business location: Anisha’s fashion store ( girls and pearls )

Even in some cases, the pictures uploaded by the owners are not visible on Google.

One more issue that I observed is related with the Street View Application. I uploaded 360 photos and published it on Google Map. Under my profile when tried to connect 360 spheres, application gets crashed and I wasn’t able to connect 360 spheres at all.

@user_not_found Is it related with the same issue or is it something else?

Recently I published three tours on Google Map out of which two tours are having the same problem. They are visible if we search from outside of India. It is becoming a major problem.

Let me know if you need the links of two tours which are affected by the same issue. Till the time should we stop publishing these tours?

Since more than two months, we have been facing above mentioned issue which is not yet resolved.

As you know this hasn’t left any clue till now and majority of the people are coming up with the same issue.

same problem i am facing since feb.

I given my all effort on street view discussion. But no one issue getting solve. I am from nagpur. You can see i posted publically all query on street view diacussion. But no result till now.

  • panos not connecting
  • Connected Panos not showing map
  • In april panos not showing on map
  • Location not approving mobile image
  • Views not miss counting
