Walking between two hemispheres … on the Ecuador Line
The line of Ecuador divides the Planet into two halves called Hemispheres. It is an imaginary line but really significant for everything that involves. The 0º 0’0’’ latitude marks the intermediate point between the two geographical poles. However, it was not as important as those that were published and identified in the network. The information was identified with half the world, but also with the natives of the area. Obviously, Ecuador as a country must be a name in this invisible line that passes inexorably through your whole world. Ecuador is a country where there are always 4 seasons and what you can enjoy in a single day, from a hot sun, to the perpetual snow of the volcanoes, the beach and the Amazon rainforest.
And what in my field respects gastronomy, we have a very tasty, varied and natural food, appreciated by many foreigners. A few years ago we were the first producers and exporters of the best bananas in the world. Now we are the only, best and most awarded for chocolate. The most exotic roses on the planet, and the most delicious shrimp in the world.
The most representative dishes of my wonderful Ecuador are:
Costa: the encebollado, the shrimp avocado, the guatita, the vegetable stew, green banana
Sierra: Potato tortillas in their great variety and combination, the pork hornado, the pork fry, the potato locro, the chicha.
Amazonia: the maito, the chontacuros, ayampaco
Insular Region or Galápagos: the spiny lobster, the marine rice.
All these regions with these rich foods have their own drinks made with fruits from their region and sector.
That’s right, as well as this world called Ecuador, where we are very hospitable people, honest, hard-working and fighters, welcome to discover this, exotic flavors and unique in the world.

entre dos hemisferios… en la Línea del Ecuador
La línea del Ecuador divide el Planeta en dos mitades llamadas Hemisferios. Es un trazo imaginario pero realmente significativo por todo lo que comporta. La latitud 0º 0´0´´ marca el punto intermedio entre los dos polos geográficos. Pero su importancia no sólo fue apreciada por los científicos franceses y españoles que en 1736 identificaron con exactitud cuál era la mitad del mundo, sino también por los nativos que en la zona hacían sus ofrendas al Sol. Obviamente Ecuador como país (Oficialmente República del Ecuador) debe su nombre a esta línea invisible que pasa inexorablemente por su todo el mundo. El Ecuador es un país donde siempre existen las 4 estaciones y lo puedes disfrutar en un solo día, desde un caluroso sol, hasta las nieves perpetuas de los volcanes, playa y selva amazónica.
Y lo que a mi campo respeta la gastronomía, tenemos una muy sabrosa, variada y natural comida, apreciada por muchos extranjeros. Hace pocos años atrás fuimos los primeros productores y exportadores del mejor banano del mundo. Ahora somos los únicos, mejores y más premiados por el Chocolate fino de aroma que producimos. Las rosas más exóticas del planeta, y el más delicioso camarón del mundo.
Los platos más representativos de mi maravilloso Ecuador son:
Costa: el encebollado, el encocado de camarón, la guatita, las menestras, bolón de plátano verde
Sierra: Tortillas de patatas en su gran variedad y combinación, el hornado de cerdo, la fritada de cerdo, el locro de papas, la chicha.
Amazonia: el maito, los chontacuros, ayampaco
Región Insular o Galápagos: la langosta espinosa, el arroz marinero.
Todas estas regiones con esas ricas comidas tienen sus propias bebidas elaboradas con frutas de su región y sector.
Así que pues, bienvenido a este mundo llamado Ecuador, donde somos gente muy hospitalaria, honestos, trabajadores y luchadores, bienvenido a descubrir esto sabores exóticos y únicos en el mundo.
