Digtial Nomad friendly cafes in Canggu, Bali. When you need Wifi that works, every day, all day

Finding a cafe to work from daily with reliable wifi, good food and coffee, amazing views and friendly staff had been my daily mission for over a month in Canggu, Bali.

I stumbled upon Cinta (meaning love in Balinese) on my way to and from the infamous “Shortcut” in Canngu. Its a stunning open restaurant with views over the rice fields. Plenty of plug points with strong wifi for uploading and downloading big data. The breakfast and lunch options all had been good and well priced. There has also been a mommy dog with a litter of puppies which made the day 10 times better with a puppy on my lap every day.

It was easy to take calls and Skype meetings at Cinta as its quiet enough to be heard clearly without too much background noise.

Second choice had been The Machinery Cafe, good quality wifi and yummy English style breakfast with free watermelon and mango served throughout out the day. Not much of a view here but very attentive staff and cute little cafe decor.

Third, The Ashton hotel, rooftop pool and bar serves buffet style breakfast with a view of the beach and all the surfers. Not as many plug points but it’s not very busy or know for its wifi and thus alot quieter to work from, I would go there if I knew I had a day filled with a lot of client calls.

Lastly, lots of open space and constant traffic of new people coming and going at the Deus Ex Machina cafe, its a bit pricier but a fun alternative for a work day with all the stunning surfboards and motor cycles on display.

I hope this will help some fellow travelers!
