Hi @Knowledgespot thank you for reaching out. To answer your question, I am not sure which updates you are talking about, can you please be specific or share a screen short of what you are talking about so that we know how we can help you?

If you are talking about edits alone this can be the reason why your edits are not updated or applied, see this link Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”? ,for updates, if you are referring to your points, it takes time for them to be added, your points looking from your Connect profile might display updated points better than your mobile device.

If you are asking whether the November 11 holiday observed in some countries will delay approvals, it would have some effect as some approvers are in countries that observe the holiday. Other reviewers, however, are in other countries; Google does have multiple locations working on edit approvals.

Considering that the average edit can take up to a month to be approved, overall a one day holiday observed in some countries will have a negligible effect on the queue.

It is not clear to me what exactly your question is about. Edits takes a lot of time to get approved in most cases. Did you read the explanation in the link about Why my edits are not approved or still pending in @Raphael-Mahumane message to you.

Also most edits are approved by computer but if any doubt they are denied or put on hold (pending) until staff or other local guides can confirm they are trustworthy.

If you need more help please include screenshots so we can understand better.

Dear @Knowledgespot

If the 24 hours you are referring to is AFTER an edit is approved, then this delay is only related to a time delay in spreading the edit between the many servers running Google maps. Don’t worry about that.

Hello again @Knowledgespot ,

Once your edit is approved, it then must be propagated out to Search. It must also be propagated to the servers Google has around the world. For this reason it can take time before everyone can find your edit.
