Mid-September in Pune India is the Best Month as a whole Maharashtra state in busy celebrating their favorite festival that is the Ganesh festival, The Festival occurs for 10 days bringing happiness and joy in everyone’s life. The 10th Day is that last day and we Punekar have our way to celebrate this festival people come over the streets and enjoy and dance on beats of Dhol and Tasha which are the traditional music instruments. Today I feel like sharing the beautiful story of my Ganesh festival procession. It was the same 10th day of the festival when I was in the crowd waiting for Dhol and Tasha to put some beats suddenly I met a girl there who was eagerly waiting for the beats so that so can dance suddenly we started talking as the procession came close to us we both got so excited that we started dancing, I was really happy to be in that crowd dancing and enjoying. Every year this procession lasts for more than 26 hours the huge idols of Ganpati are worshiped and walked through the street carrying them in huge tractors. Usually, I wait for only 7-8 hours in this ceremony but this time there was something that made me stop for the whole night and dance on the beats of Dhol. I will never forget this moment of my life which made me feel so happy and excited.
