Time flies, it’s already the end of May, which means in Taiwan, summer is coming very soon! Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite dessert shops in Taipei City. As a combination of crèmerie, pâtisserie, and café, Deux Doux serves parfaits, ice desserts, tea, coffee, and snacks. Guess what on the menu is my ultimate go-to item? Just like its name, PARFAIT, which in French, means “perfect”.
Another thing about Deux Doux is that they change the menu every season, which is awesome for foodies who like to try new things, like me. I’ve been to this place several times, and each time, I ordered new items to try. Among all the parfaits and ice desserts I’ve eaten, my personal favorites are the Citrus Fabulous Parfait and the Tarte au Citron ice dessert, both are summertime limited and absolutely divine, as I love Citrus fruits so much!
The place is a popular dessert spot so be prepared to wait for a while to get a table on weekends. Noted that the minimum order is NT$300 which is the average price of a parfait or an ice dessert item, but it’s definitely worth it!
