Dubai the place for tourists, city has many place to visit, if you are in dubai and not visit desert safari ,you miss big adventure. So enjoy your ride in Dubai… for dessert safari you pay once then you free ride to desert then a belly dance, full fire dance, songs, at night and at last the dinner at night… a must visit placce. @localguide

This sounds like a lot of fun. You forgot to mention smoking shisha is also part of it :).
Do you have some pictures of the dances? Did you sleep in that desert village?
When I Was in Egypt with my parents I wanted to go for exactly this adventure but my parents told me that they will not pay dessert adventure when there is dessert everywhere around us. They said we (I was there also with my friend) can just go for a walk into the desert without any paid trip. So we did :). But I am pretty sure you had more fun.
