Delhi is a delight for a foodie. One must not miss trying all the tastes it has to offer.
The following Dosa was 35 INR and Sambhar Vada costed 25 INR. Eating it hot, you will never forget its taste. I had started eating the dosa, my favorite dish, as soon as I saw it, hence you can’t see a picture here.
Next, my friend had me tasted this pudding like dish that is named, Shahi Tukade, near Jama Masjid. It tasted sweet and tender, a real bliss if you want to add sweetness in your life.
The Haldiram Store near Sarojini Nagar had all these dishes mentioned in the menu.
Chole Bhature at Haldiram is a must try. Its Chole was something I really enjoyed. The quality of Bhature was great. I miss it.

Hello @ArchitOjha ,
Thank you for sharing all these details and great food with us.
India has always been on my must-see list and now, thanks to you, I have a mini food guide for Delhi.
Is there the possibility to choose how spicy the dish would be?

Hey @BorrisS ,
So glad to know that I could add something to your great Indian experience.
Yes, indeed, you can ask the maker for less or more spice depending upon your preferences. But if you are not accustomed to Indian food, go for the buzz word “ABSOLUTELY NO SPICE” as the guy will then make you do with the least spicy food possible. Although it is in now way going to be zero spicy.
Check out Paranthe wali gali if you love street food. Gupchups are seriously something you would not want to give a miss.

Hello @ArchitOjha ,
Thank you for the tips, this sounds amazing! As a person who grew up in Morocco, I’m used to spicy food and I love it.
