Deleting my post without any warning or notification (automatic filter?)

What is the advised way to repor lost/deleted/hidden/filtered posts, apart from creating a new topic and including plenty of moderators?

Like cc’ing random mods as @TraciC , @GeorgesHR or @FelipePK ?

So, I have two messages, one seems to be disappeared while it didn’t contain anything agains any guidelines (of which I may be more familar than the average). I would obviously appreciate undisappearing it, apart from, um, possibly, even answering it (and not with a link to google agreements, since I’m familar with them and they aren’t answering the questions).

Thank you!

Hi @grinapo I was about to reply to your topic. Then I sent you an email.

Maybe your thread got quarantined: have a look to this area https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/premod/moderationitemspage/tab/rejected

If it’s there, you can ask a Connect Moderator to release it.

Hello @grinapo ,

Please note that a moderator will spam a post that my violate any of the program’s guidelines. Please check our Local Guides Program Rules before posting.

However, our filters can be little harsh sometimes, in this case you can contact a moderator to review a post that was marked as spam. You can also visit this article to learn more - Why was my Connect post marked as spam?

@LucioV thanks for the help. I usually prefer solutions useful for the general public, that’s why I asked the question in a general way: how one’s supposed to act when a post disappears, since there were various (different) advices.

The link you have quoted is very useful, however it seems to be a secret thing since it doesn’t seem to be linked from the usual places one would look in for the lost post, like the “my posts” in the account page, or the side menu.

As for my specific post it was indeed flagged by The Evil Bot and has been freed by our hero moderators.

@FelipePK thanks for the reply, just a remark: the spam filter seems to dislike any external links; someone should mention to the filter coding gurus that they should positive-score well-known reference sites like Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons (which was the one I’ve linked, and it’s kind of related to the topic here since contains plenty of images of local and global interest).

[Honestly, I do not expect anyone do anything about it, but my bad habit is to keep mention hopeless things all the times. ;-)]

Also I apologise for pinging you here, I don’t like disturbing cherry-picked random people, if it can be avoided.
