If my Google Photos get deleted, now in July 2020, are they removed from Google Maps, and does my Local Guides level decrease @user_not_found @KarenVChin or @ErmesT ?

Storing of pics in Google photos and uploading those to Maps are two distinct and independent actions.
Although some users have found minor modifications in Google photos reflects in Maps also. Nevertheless, my experience is that subtle correlation vanishes the moment we delete one from the Google photos.
Nevertheless, had there been a one to one relationship between these two, that would have been a great boon for photo management.
